Defense Ministry foils attempt to smuggle arms from Israel into PA

The Defense Ministry said on Friday that it had thwarted an attempt to smuggle arms from Israel to Palestinian Authority territories.
Officials said that they found in the trunk of a vehicle 10,000 rounds of live ammunition that were supposed to make their way across the border.
Police arrested both the vehicle's passengers – an Israeli from the Arab town of Shakhnin and a Palestinian man from the West Bank town of Jenin.
