The Health Ministry said on Sunday that there were 773 new cases of coronavirus detected on Saturday after 27,026 tests conducted, indicating a 2.9% positivity rate, the same as on the previous day.
There are 644 people hospitalized in serious condition with 191 on ventilators.
Since the start of the pandemic, 5,992 people have succumbed to the virus.
