Israel's number of coronavirus cases reaches 3,460

After two more died from the virus Friday, death toll remains at 12; citizens were instructed Thursday to remain at home with emergency measures in place for a period of seven days

Israel now has 3,460 confirmed cases of coronavirus, the Health Ministry said Saturday morning.

  • Of that number, 50 people are in serious condition, 73 are in moderate condition and the rest have light symptoms.

    Another 89 people have now made a full recovery.
    Two more Israelis died on Friday as a result of the coronavirus bringing the number of fatalities to 12.
    There are currently approximately 484 people in hospital in Israel, 1,828 people being treated at home, 469 in a specially designated hotel and the rest awaiting a decision on how they will be treated.
    Israelis were instructed Thursday to remain at home with emergency measures in place for a period of seven days.
    Officials warn that a complete lock-down will be imposed if there is no indication of a decline in the number of new cases reported.
