Attorney General Avichain Mandelblit informed the Supreme Court he would not weigh in at this time on the legality of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu being tasked with forming a new government.
Mandelblit responded to a demand by the court that he announce whether or not he intends to do so.
In his response, the AG said he would weigh in only if the supreme court itself takes up the question.
