An explosive device detonated at the new home of Ynet's Arab affairs correspondent Hassan Shaalan in the predominately Arab city of Baqa al-Gharbiyye overnight Friday.
The charge caused damage to the first and second floors of the house. There weren't any injuries reported in the incident as Hassan and his family were supposed to move there next month.
Police arrived at the scene and launched an investigation. According to suspicion, two men arrived at the house on a motorcycle, one of them jumped over the fencing and laid down the explosives.
Two weeks ago, two masked men shot dozens of bullets at Shaalan's home in Tayibe. No suspects have been arrested yet.
