President Reuven Rivlin congratulated David Barnea on his appointment as the next head of the Mossad intelligence agency Monday evening.
"Dear David, I have no doubt that you will lead our excellent people in Mossad with professionalism and courage," Rivlin wrote on his Twitter page. "I am sure that your diverse abilities and your many years of service of the state will guide you on your path to ensure Israel's security and operational superiority."
