|
A number of neighborhoods in the Haredi city of Beit Shemesh as well as in the southern city of Netivot will be under lockdown for five days starting Sunday, a special Knesset committee in charge of combating coronavirus announced on Friday.
The decision to impose a lockdown was made after the two cities recorded a sharp rise in the number of COVID-19 infections over the past few days.
The lockdown is set to start on Sunday at 6am and end on Friday at 6am.
