Lockdown ineffective in stopping infection, warns coronavirus czar

Coronavirus czar Prof. Nachman Ash warned Wednesday that the lockdown is ineffective in its current format.
"There is a big question mark over the effectiveness of the lockdown. In the coming days, we will probably have to recommend a tightening [of restrictions]," said Prof. Ash. "I am very concerned that when competing with the pathogen, we will not be able to vaccinate enough."
