Likud will not hold primary elections, committee says

The Likud party's constitutional committee said Wednesday the faction will not hold primary elections ahead of the March 202 national vote.
The party instead approved Chairman Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to choose five candidates on his behalf to be included in the party's list.
The last time Likud had internal election was ahead of the national vote in April 2019.
