Minister of Public Security says independent investigation needed into Meron disaster

Minister of Public Security Amir Ohana said on Friday that an independent investigation is needed to look into all aspects pertaining to the planning, execution and responsibility for the tragic events on Mount Meron that resulted in the death of 44 people late on Thursday.
Ohana spoke during his visit to the site of the disaster with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. "I send my condolences to the families of the victims and pray for the injured," the minister said.
