Due to the rocket attacks on southern Israel during Friday night and Saturday morning, Chief of Staff Aviv Kochavi postponed his trip to the United States, during which he was to participate in talks on the nuclear agreement with Iran.
In addition, on Saturday, Kochavi and other military officials discussed a series of possible responses to the rocket attack, as well as preparations for further escalation.
