The London-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights says five pro-Iranian militiamen were killed and seven Syrian soldiers were wounded in a strike attributed to Israel near Damascus late Monday.
The attack targeted Syrian air defense batteries and weapons depot belonging to the militia south of Damascus.
More strikes were also reported in the Daraa area in Southern Syria.
