The Shin Bet security agency said on Thursday that over 500 Israelis have been diagnosed with coronavirus so far thanks to its efforts to track down potential carriers and isolation violators.
Earlier in the week, the government authorized Shin Bet to use location data collected from mobile phones to enforce home-isolation according to Health Ministry regulations, track down potential carriers of the highly contagious pathogen, and alarm civilians who might have been exposed to the virus.
