The Tel Aviv regional labor court on Sunday ruled that a local authority decision to ban a non-vaccinated teaching assistant from school is within the law.
In a landmark decision the court said the teaching assistant should be paid even if she is not in school.
"The local authority is responsible for the health of students, their families and the rest of the school staff and the teaching assistant's rights do not outweigh that," the ruling reads.
