Foreign news reports say that the young Israeli woman captured by Syria after inadvertently crossing the border is a resident of the Haredi settlement of Modi'in Illit in the West Bank.
The woman is said to be part of a prisoner exchange currently being negotiated between Israel and Syria with Russian mediation.
