Complaints of racism were three times higher in 2020 than the previous year, according to a report published Wednesday.
According to a report by the Information Center for Victims of Discrimination and Racism, there were 1,450 complaints filed in 2020, compared to 497 in 2019.
Numbers showed that 54% of cases involved Ethiopian Jews and Arabs. The report also showed that 26% of complaints were discrimination while receiving public services, 19% were racist expressions and 15% were discrimination at the workplace.
