The Health Ministry on Sunday said 322 new coronavirus cases were detected since Saturday after only 13,507 tests conducted, showing a 2.3% positivity rate.
According to the ministry, of the 7,916 Israelis currently battling the virus, 536 are being treated in hospitals, 288 in serious condition and of them 122 on ventilators.
Since the start of the pandemic, 2,712 people have succumbed to the virus.
