IDF reports record number of daily coronavirus cases

The IDF reported a record high number of coronavirus cases on Wednesday, with 1,506 new cases diagnosed on Tuesday - compared to the previous record which stood at 1,425.
There are currently 12,339 soldiers in isolation after coming into contact with a verified coronavirus patient.
As part of Israel's nationwide coronavirus vaccination drive, some 29,000 soldiers have already been inoculated.
