Sources investigating the rocket strike in Haifa that killed three people believe the victims were attempting to reach a shelter but didn't make it in time. Reports indicate part of the building collapsed on them, trapping them inside. A fire broke out near the scene with heavy smoke billowing from it, and the high temperatures at the location left them little chance of survival. According to assessments, the three victims likely suffocated from the thick smoke and were severely injured by the intense heat at the scene.
