Lapid: 'Rabin was assassinated and today Ben-Gvir is a minister - this is the government's greatest sin'

|
Opposition leader Yair Lapid spoke at a special Knesset session commemorating Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin. "Yitzhak Rabin was assassinated and Itamar Ben-Gvir is today a senior minister in the government. This is the current government's greatest sin," Lapid said, "This is the original sin that led both to the rift in the nation and to October 7: legitimizing extremism and racism." According to him, "It is impossible to unite the people of Israel without defining, in a clear and distinct voice, under which values we want to unite and which positions we firmly reject."
