The IDF reported that the Air Force eliminated two Hezbollah operatives in southern Lebanon yesterday. "The IDF attacked and eliminated the terrorist Mohammad Abbas Shashua, who served as an artillery commander in the Sohmor area of southern Lebanon for the Hezbollah terrorist organization," the IDF spokesperson stated. "During the war, the terrorist advanced numerous rocket firing plans targeting Kiryat Shmona and the Golan Heights, and recently was engaged in rebuilding terror infrastructure in southern Lebanon and planning terrorist activities against our forces." Additionally, terrorist Mohammad Hussein Yasin, a senior official in Hezbollah's artillery unit in the Shaqif sector, was eliminated yesterday: "During the war, he advanced many terrorist plans targeting the Galilee Panhandle and Kiryat Shmona, and worked to rebuild the organization's capabilities in his sector and transfer weapons south of the Litani."
