The IDF Spokesperson reported that earlier, IDF and Border Police forces arrived in the Bazaria area in Samaria following a report of stone-throwing at an Israeli citizen, who was injured. Subsequently, a confrontation developed, which included the gathering of dozens of Palestinians and Israeli citizens. During the confrontation and the evacuation of the injured Israeli citizen to receive medical treatment, a security officer and another Israeli citizen fired at the location of the confrontation. A soldier operating in the field identified a terrorist running toward him while carrying a suspicious object, and neutralized him. Several suspects were arrested on suspicion of stone-throwing. The incident is under investigation.
