Judge significantly eases detention conditions for Eli Feldstein - but does not release him

Judge Aala Masarwa significantly eased the detention conditions of former Prime Minister's Office spokesman Eli Feldstein, releasing him from house arrest to a supervised release, where he is allowed to leave with an escort. Judge Masarwa explained that "the probation service addressed the dangerousness of the petitioner, and as mentioned, I believed that legal considerations should also be included. The complete range of considerations leads me to conclude that detention conditions should be eased, but not completely eliminated. Supervised release during the day, house arrest at night." The prosecution requested a stay of implementation to consider an appeal to the Supreme Court. The judge granted a stay until Monday.
