A boy, approximately 7 years old, was brought to paramedics by an MDA team on Route 264 near Rahat while unconscious. The medics and paramedics were forced to pronounce him dead at the scene. Paramedic Malek Abu Arara recounted: 'We met a private vehicle that brought the child to us near the junction leading to Rahat. They told us he was injured in a traffic accident. He suffered from multi-system trauma and showed no signs of life, leaving us no choice but to pronounce him dead.' Police have opened an investigation into the circumstances of the accident.
