Foreign Minister Gideon Saar addressed claims during a classified discussion in the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee that the government is removing the hostages from the agenda, saying "The hostage issue has not been neglected, there are ongoing contacts and we want to reach a hostage deal based on the Wolfowitz outline." He added: "We have given a positive response and are currently waiting for Hamas's answer."
