Plane carrying student delegation from London to Poland diverted due to bomb threat

|
A LOT Polish Airlines plane that took off from London en route to Warsaw was diverted to land at Modlin Airport, near the Polish capital, following a bomb threat. There were 181 people on board the plane, including a group of Jewish students aged 16 and 17 from a high school in London, who were on their way to a delegation trip to Poland. Among the students were also Israelis living in London. After landing, passengers were disembarked from the plane, and local security forces began conducting searches. The mother of one of the students told Ynetnews: 'The plane landed at an airport close to Warsaw. There they took the passengers off without their equipment and transferred them for inspection.' According to her, the passengers are expected to continue their journey to Warsaw by bus, without a connecting flight.
