The Lod District Court sentenced Nisim Dais to six years in prison for hitting and abandoning Ziv Mislati to death about two years ago. In August 2023, Dais was driving a front loader tractor on the Ayalon Highway when he hit Mislati, who suffered severe injuries throughout his body that led to his death. The court also sentenced Dais to 12 months suspended imprisonment and ordered him to pay ten thousand shekels in compensation to Mislati's family, after convicting him of negligent homicide, hit and run, and obstruction of justice.
