Israel Prison Service Commissioner Kobi Yakobi claims he possesses "unequivocal evidence" supporting his allegation of an improper relationship between a Police Internal Investigations Department investigator who questioned him and a key witness in the case against him. According to him, a source unrelated to the affair is in possession of the evidence. Yakobi claimed he cannot provide the evidence to Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara, despite her demand, "without fearing further obstruction of the investigation as the information provided could reach that investigator." Yakobi is expected to face an indictment in the Ben-Gvir associates affair, and he requested to be given three days to file a petition with the High Court of Justice regarding the claims he raised.
