Dozens of Golani soldiers left brigade appreciation evening due to women singing and 'immodest' dress

|
Dozens of Golani fighters left the hall during a brigade appreciation evening in protest of women's singing and the screening of "inappropriate" images, as they described them. "The IDF knows how to adapt itself to almost every population, but when it comes to religious soldiers, they expect us to go with the flow, give up and stay silent," claimed one of the fighters. Another said: "We're here to protect, but it's unacceptable that in a Jewish state, a religious soldier feels like an unwelcome guest at a military event." During the performance, images of women in swimsuits and "immodest" clothing were projected on the screens.
