Histadrut Chairman Arnon Bar-David and employers under the organization will support solidarity demonstrations by workers who wish to strike on Sunday, to strengthen the hostages' families and express support for the struggle to return all hostages. This was reported by the Hostages' Families Headquarters, which added that at this stage, the Histadrut has decided not to shut down the economy. The headquarters expected the organization to join a broader move that would "prevent the immediate risk to the living hostages and the deceased." Last week, the Histadrut announced they would not strike on Sunday, and since then efforts have been made to recruit them to the initiative.
