David Elbaz, a member of the Likud's internal court, called on presenter Yinon Magal to retract and apologize "for the miserable statement that 'Knesset Member Gadi Eisenkot is a Moroccan Mizrahi monkey.'" In a post he published on X, Elbaz wrote: "Mr. Gadi Eisenkot, as a Moroccan and Likudnik I ask your forgiveness for the miserable statement. Yinon Magal, apologize and ask for forgiveness, immediately! This could still cause us to lose the election! You are not Dodo Topaz." Yesterday during a debate on the Patriots program, Magal said about Eisenkot: "You're perfuming yourself with the fact that he's Mizrahi? They put a monkey with all the elitist Ashkenazis behind him managing him. Manlis (Ronen Manlis) manages him and tells him what to say. He's a monkey."
