Dozens of ultra-Orthodox extremists demonstrated near Sabbath Square in Jerusalem over IDF conscription. During their violent riot, protesters blocked a traffic route, damaged a bus, set fire to garbage bins, damaged a police car and threw stones and objects that caused minor injuries to a civilian passerby and a police officer. After they ignored a dispersal order given by a police officer at the scene, police forces and Border Guard fighters began operations to disperse the disturbance using stun grenades.
