Hamas leader in Gaza Khalil al-Hayya claimed that the terror organization "did not reject" the Witkoff outline for a ceasefire in Gaza, and demanded "several corrections and improvements to ensure a ceasefire." According to him, "Hamas is ready for additional negotiations, and talks with mediators continue." He further stated: "Our efforts within the negotiations continue with the aim of securing our people's rights and the withdrawal of the occupation. The only obstacle to an agreement since the beginning of negotiations is Benjamin Netanyahu - who rejects all agreement proposals."
