The director of the Meteorological Service, Dr. Amir Givati, updated that starting from the afternoon hours, rain is expected mainly in the east of the country, from the Golan Heights to the Jordan Valley and the Judean Desert area and the streams of the Dead Sea and Arava. The rains will be characterized by heavy intensity and will be accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning — and even hail. In the streams, there is a severe flash flood danger, and it is forbidden to approach the stream channels.
