Report: Chinese Oil Tanker Safely Crossed Strait of Hormuz Yesterday, Alongside Indian Tankers

|
According to a Bloomberg report, a Chinese-owned oil tanker sailed through the Strait of Hormuz on a route used by other vessels with Iranian approval. The report states that the vessel Bright Gold left the Gulf yesterday morning through a channel between the Iranian islands of Qeshm and Larak, while signaling its Chinese ownership. Two Indian gas tankers passed through the same route the tanker used this week, after New Delhi announced it had discussed safe passage of the vessels with Tehran.
