New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani will participate today in a Passover Seder event to be held in Manhattan, where musician David Broza will also take part, and all proceeds will be donated to the left-wing organization 'Seeds of Peace,' which works to strengthen ties between Israelis and Palestinians. A spokesperson for Mamdani said the mayor will also hold a private Seder meal with city employees. Mamdani has previously referred to the story of the Exodus from Egypt as a 'call to the struggle for liberation' and said that 'we need a shared faith against the pharaohs around us, such as President Donald Trump.'
