Iris Haim: 'Yesterday I realized we need to agree to surrender'

|
Iris Haim, mother of hostage Yotam Haim who was accidentally shot by IDF forces, addressed the difficult captivity videos of Aviatar David in an interview with Kan Reshet Bet radio and said, "Until that image of a skeleton and bones walking toward death, I strongly believed they had the strength to survive. But I saw a person with no chance, who is already done, who is finished," she said. According to her, "Yesterday I realized that's it, there's nothing left, we need to agree to surrender, yes, we need to surrender. I'm not afraid of this word, because surrendering is less terrible than letting these children waste away to death from starvation."
