A soldier from the Desert Reconnaissance Battalion (585) in the Southern Brigade of the Gaza Division was seriously injured in an operational vehicle accident near the Gaza border. The IDF spokesperson announced this, adding that the soldier was evacuated for medical treatment at a hospital and his family has been notified. The accident also left one soldier moderately injured and two additional soldiers lightly wounded.
