The IDF announced that the last hostage in Gaza, Ran Gvili, has been identified and returned to Israel for burial. Gvili was returned to Israel after 843 days in Hamas captivity in Gaza.
"After completing the identification process by the National Center for Forensic Medicine in collaboration with Israel Police and the Military Rabbinate, IDF representatives informed the Gvili family that their loved one has been identified and returned for burial," the statement said.
"The IDF shares in the family's grief. The IDF will continue to accompany the families and returnees and work to strengthen the security of Israel's citizens. With this, all hostages have been returned from Gaza."
