MDA Spokesperson Ahead of Haredi Protests: 'We Ask That Ambulances Be Allowed to Move'

|
MDA spokesperson Zaki Heller addressed the organization's preparations for expected disruptions due to extremist ultra-Orthodox protests in an interview at the Ynet studio. He said: "All teams will be reinforced both at dispatch centers and throughout the country, ambulances and mobile intensive care units will be deployed in locations where traffic congestion is expected." When asked whether ambulances have difficulty reaching scenes on time due to the protests, Zaki answered: "Unfortunately, our teams have become skilled in this matter as well, on such days, in recent years in general, so we prepare in advance and deploy teams in the field ahead of time. We call on the public to allow free movement for ambulances that need to pass. Every ambulance is on its way to save lives."
