Two youths crossed the border into Syria, returned to Israel and caught with Kalashnikov

Police arrested two youths from northern Israel (18 and 20), residents of the villages of Kisra and Beit Jann, who returned with a Kalashnikov from Syria after crossing the border yesterday. Police conducted a search of the two youths and found a Kalashnikov rifle and a magazine in their personal belongings. The two were arrested and transferred for investigation, and police are expected to request an extension of their detention.
