Israel Eichler will not run for the 26th Knesset on the United Torah Judaism list representing Agudat Yisrael. This was reported by the Belz Hasidic community. According to the announcement, Rabbi Elikim Stark will replace him on the list. Eichler has served as a member of Knesset almost continuously since 2003. In recent months, he served as deputy minister of communications.
