Tel Aviv District Court judges have suggested that the prosecution withdraw the indictment in the classified documents case, or alternatively, at the conclusion of the investigation, file a single comprehensive indictment combining it with the "Qatar-gate" affair. These comments were made during a hearing on "selective enforcement" regarding the arrest of reservist Ari Rosenfeld and Eli Feldstein, former spokesman for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, versus the investigation of Netanyahu's advisor Jonathan Urich. Judge Raanan Bar Yosef said: "Why don't you withdraw the indictment and file a single indictment for both cases? Let's call it 2000, 3000, 5000, whatever you want. Then the defendants won't be harmed by the time they need to spend under house arrest." The prosecution opposes this move.
