Israel removes Spain from coordination headquarters in Kiryat Gat

|
Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar has decided that Spain will not be permitted to participate in the Civil-Military Coordination Center in Kiryat Gat, which was established as part of U.S. President Donald Trump's peace plan for the Gaza Strip (CMCC). According to the Foreign Ministry, the decision stems from "the anti-Israel obsession of the Spanish government led by Sánchez and serious harm to Israel's interests (and also those of the U.S.), including during the war against Iran." Notice of the decision – which was coordinated in advance with the United States – has been conveyed to Spain.
