German Foreign Minister Jochen Wadephul met with Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar in Berlin. At a joint press conference they held, he said: "We are ready to take responsibility once the war ends, and to participate in defending the Strait of Hormuz. The conflict must end in such a way that Iran no longer poses a threat to Israel or to the countries of the region." Sa'ar added: "Anyone who sees how this regime behaves toward its neighbors in the region understands the necessity of preventing it from obtaining nuclear weapons."
