IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir met with families of hostages who were killed or murdered in captivity. During the meeting, according to the IDF, Zamir expressed the military's commitment to securing the return of the hostages. "Their return is constantly before my eyes and before the eyes of all IDF soldiers. This is a top priority mission, a noble and vital goal. Military operations in Gaza are conducted in full coordination with the POW and MIA command," he said.
