The IDF spokesperson announced that "in accordance with the directive from the political echelon, and as part of the cooperation between Israel, the United Arab Emirates, Jordan and Egypt, the IDF through COGAT continues a series of actions to improve the humanitarian response in the Gaza Strip." The military said that "in recent hours, 32 aid packages containing food were airdropped to residents of southern and northern Gaza. The IDF will continue to work to improve the humanitarian response in the Gaza Strip, in cooperation with the international community, while refuting the false claims of deliberate starvation in Gaza." Some of the aid was dropped near distribution centers of the American aid foundation GHF.
