The IDF struck earlier a launch site in Gaza City where a Hamas rocket launcher was positioned. The IDF stated that 'the use of the site constitutes a violation of the ceasefire agreement. IDF forces under Southern Command are deployed in the area in accordance with the agreement and will continue to operate to thwart attempts by terrorist organizations to strengthen in the Gaza Strip and to remove any threat to the State of Israel and its citizens.'
