Hamas sources: Agreement text has issues, allows Israel to resume Gaza strikes

|
Hamas sources told the London-based Arabic newspaper Al-Sharq Al-Awsat that 'there are problems with the proposed agreement text.' According to them, the 'Witkoff outline' 'does not clearly present the 60-day period as a ceasefire commitment and leaves it ambiguous, without obligating Israel to maintain it or extend it in case of success.' The sources added that 'this means giving Israel a clear opportunity to resume attacks in Gaza in the Lebanese style, whenever it wants, after the seventh day - which is the deadline set for completing the hostage release - and then fully resume the war after 60 days.'
