The 27-year-old who was shot after causing a disturbance at the Rehabilitation Department offices in Beer Sheva has been released from custody. The Beer Sheva Magistrate Court released the young man, an IDF disabled veteran from Netivot, who was shot by security guards at the Rehabilitation Department after causing a disturbance there. According to police, security guards tried to calm him down but he attacked them, grabbed scissors and attempted to stab one of them. Yesterday, the court released him under restrictive conditions. Attorney Shai Feld, who represents the suspect on behalf of the Public Defender's Office, said, "He was injured during his service and expected to be treated properly. We expect that this injury will be addressed, and he will receive the treatment he needs."
